PROCEDURE: · Decide on a genetic disease · Research on the internet making note cards of the information gathered about your disease · Cite your web pages for a bibliography at the end of the power point
Phase One – GATHERING THE INFORMATION:
· Note cards/slides should include the following: o Title page § Disease Name § Illustration § Researchers § Date o History of the disease § How was is discovered and by whom o Facts of the disease § List at least five (5) interesting facts about your disease o Symptoms of the disease o Causes of the disease/Genetic Causes § How someone contracts the illness o Cures/Treatments of the disease o Case studies of the disease o Any personal experiences of the disease (optional) o Create a bibliography slide § Make a list of all resources used § Include Internet Addresses (information, graphics and clipart) § Include Title and Author of all books used § Name the page number and volume number of Encyclopedias · Create an eye appealing and factual power point · Remember to include your name on the title page

Use PowerPoint to create the presentation on your Genetic Disease.
As this work is being published and shown to an audience, you will need to make sure: Ù ÙIt is written in your own words Ù ÙYour spelling is correct Ù ÙYou use complete sentences
